A
little history on the Jailhouse. It was originally a County Jail. Was
purchased and moved on to the Lewis-Clark Resort property and placed in the
back of the property. When I saw it, I told the owners if he would move it
to the front across from the restaurant, I would open an antique shop - but
he would also have to build a small building on the back so it would be more
secure and weather proof. So five men rolled in onto the logs and rolled it
from the back of the property to the front, then built the attachment and
cut a doorway into the back of the jail for access. Thus Jailhouse Antiques
'n' Stuff was born. Was a sight to behold. to see them roll this building...
